Mike McCorkle & Charlie Stalnaker

I visited the museum in January, 2004, and had the opportunity to meet with Mike McCorkle, Director of the P-47N restoration, and Ernie Newman, Director of Public Affairs.  Mike not only gave me a personalized tour of the P-47N project, he also was kind enough to introduce me to Dr. Mary Elizabeth Ruwell, the museum's director.

The P-47N restoration is about 75% complete, and contributions are greatly welcomed to help bring this project to its conclusion.  Contact Dr. Ruwell (mary.ruwell@peterson.af.mil) if you'd like to offer assistance.
